Santa

Getting ready for Christmas this year has been very fun with Hayden. He has been very in to Santa. We wrote him a letter and got our response back. We had to go sit on his lap just to make sure that he really knew what Hayden wanted. When Santa asked what he wanted he didn't even hesitate with his list. He wants a scooter with 2 wheels, 4 Bakugans, Lego Star Wars, and Mario Kart. He even asked for the Cabela's Big Game Hunter for Dan. He didn't ask for anything for me, so we'll see what I end up with :). Kolby wasn't so sure about Santa. I love the pictures with kids screaming on Santa's lap. I am so terrible.

Snow Slide

Our home teacher came over the other night and told Hayden that he was going to build a snow slide and Hayden could come and slide whenever he wanted. Hayden decided that we should have a snow slide in our yard too. The very next day he had me outside building a slide. I think I did a pretty good job. We invited 3 of Hayden's friends over to slide. They had the best time. Luke, Colton, Carter, and Hayden

Finding our Christmas Tree

The day after Thanksgiving we went and cut down a Christmas tree. Hayden had the best time. I thought the hard part would be finding the tree, but we found it right off. It turned out that the hard part was getting it to stay standing in our tree stand. The tree fell over at least 4 times (Dan was under the tree everytime). He had lots of help from Hayden and Kolby, which really wasn't helpful at all. After about 2 hours and some unmentionable words from Dan our tree is decorated and still standing.
